OMEN

OMEN is a browser-based 2D turn-based tactical RPG inspired by Operating Systems scheduling algorithms.

Unlike traditional RPG games where speed determines turns, OMEN uses scheduling concepts like Highest Response Ratio Next or HRRN and Shortest Remaining Time First or SRTF to control battle flow.

The game focuses on strategy, resource management, and dynamic turn order manipulation.

OMEN is designed as a single-player online browser game playable on both PC and mobile devices.

The game follows two warriors, Lyren and Kael, Mireth and Vorath, who fight against enemies created after the collapse of the Fate Chain.

The world has fallen into chaos because of an entity called The Unmade God, a mysterious being capable of breaking the natural order of turns and actions.

Players must strategically battle enemies and restore balance to reality.

The current playable characters include:

Lyren

A fast-response fighter focused on maintaining high turn priority.

Kael

A patience-based fighter who builds power before releasing stronger attacks.

Mireth

A chain controller that disrupts enemy order and manipulates battle flow.

Vorath

A chaos-focused character built around unpredictable outcomes and high-risk gameplay.

The game contains multiple enemy types.

Shade Runner

focuses on fast attacks and speed pressure.

Gear Warden

manipulates turn order and delays players.

Weave Prime

focused on patience and delayed power.

The Unmade God

responsible for breaking the Fate Chain and changing battle pacing.
